Overview

Provide a variety of activities to support the servicing and quality control of the Bank’s loan portfolio. Activities include reviewing completed files for accuracy, performing required loan maintenance, and supporting the Loan Servicing Team with daily functions as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a function.

  • Quality Control review of daily Commercial Loan maintenance, loan boarding and modification/change in terms.
  • Review daily loan reports to validate proper processing of loan functions.
  • Review completed loan files for accuracy, providing feedback concerning documentation deficiencies.
  • Track all pending/outstanding loan documents and exceptions and provide reports to the lending team.
  • Assist Management with the creation of required credit and board reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Answer and respond to both internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
  • Perform loan maintenance as needed (commercial renewals, extensions, modification) while ensuring the proper approvals are evident.
  • Board new loans or modifications as needed
  • Process loan-related transactions.
  • Assist in updating policies and procedures as needed.
  • Participate in internal and external audit assessments.
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of Banking experience
  • Prior Loan Operations experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of commercial lending
  • Knowledge of DNA core system preferred

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong comprehensive knowledge of lending terminology.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized.

Working Conditions

Traditional office environment with no unusual work conditions with ability to work remotely on a hybrid basis; the office maintains five day a week operations (Monday – Friday) with operational hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm.
