    Responsible for the day-to-day operational and sales functions of the branch.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve deposit, loan, and fee income goals
    • Leads the Mystery Shop Program for the branch
    • Proactively seek to bring in external business via disciplined calling and sales efforts
    • Participate in the development and mangement of sales activities for the branch office
    • Develop and coach the branch staff
    • Acts as product/services referral source for various bank departments including loans, trust, insurance and investments. Participates in development of ongoing marketing and business development activities within market area, coordinating with other business units as appropriate
    • Ensure branch commitment to excellent service for both internal and external customers
    • Oversee branch management, including operations, administration, staffing, audits, compliance, and security
    • Oversee coordination of personnel regarding staffing requirements, distribution, and scheduling of work
    • Ability to achieve sales goals through relationship based selling techniques
    • Regularly refers clients to other business units of the Bank including commercial, investments, insurance and trust
    • Comply with applicable bank regulations, such as regulations governing currency transactions, purchase of negotiable instruments, and money laundering (BSA,AML)
    • Participate in annual compliance and other job related training
    • Supervise the operations of the Branch Office, mostly independent of the Branch Manager and in Manager's absence; Supervise and train branch staff
    • Lead inside sales and cross-selling initiatives for the branch; conduct coaching for the service and sales program; regularly conduct sales and staff meetings
    • Reinforce Bank policies and procedures;Investigate and reconcile discrepancies
    • Follow and enforce all compliance and security procedures, including dual control, cash control, and branch opening and closing procedures
    • Adhere to sales and account opening procedures
    • Follow all aspects of the Bank privacy policy regarding Bank and customer information

     

    Qualifications

    • Sales experience and/or demonstrated aptitude and desire to succeed at business development activities
    • Thorough knowledge of Bank products and services
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to intereact well with Team members and customers
    • Good Supervisory and coaching skills
    • Strong attention to details and accuracy
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to multi-task and remain organized
    • Ability to achieve sales goals through relationship-based selling techniques
    • NMLS required
    • Ability to use sound judgment when making decisions on behalf of the Bank

    Education and Experience

    • Minimum five years banking experience and two years supervisory experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent required;Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university preferred
